Description:
It is to evaluate the anti cracking or anti separation performance of the coating after it is gradually deformed under standard conditions after film formation. The minimum depth of the punch when the paint film is damaged is the cupping index (also known as Erichsen number), expressed in mm. Its structure is a bench type device with a steel body and a steel ball test head with a diameter of 20mm, also known as a punch. Press the unpainted side of the test plate with a certain force; Rotate the hand wheel at a certain speed (recommended: 0.2mm/s) to top the steel ball, and observe the surface of the test plate through a magnifying glass. When the test plate is deformed and the first crack is observed, immediately stop rotating the hand wheel and read out the cup convex depth value from the LCD screen.
This machine is designed according to GB / T 9753, DIN ISO 1520 and BS 3900. It is mainly applicable to the coating of metal plates in the household appliance industry (measuring the stretch and adhesion of paint film on the metal surface), and also applicable to the coating on some non-metal substrates.Paint Testing Equipment
